My name is Jenna and I am the principle and teacher at JT Dance, Warrington. I recently started teaching beginners ballet for adults at my dance school in Warrington and people regularly ask me if adults can learn ballet.

My answer is YES of course. Apart from learning the graceful movements that define this form of dance, you will be learning the core foundations of ballet which are well known for being extremely beneficial to posture, muscle strengh and tone, and flexibility.

Ballet can help you to lose weight and improve your fitness levels. Learning ballet is also really great fun, and dancing (whilst exercising) to music and with a group of simular minded people is special as it releases endorphins which are known to give a feeling of well-being.
