For parents and adult dancers
Terms and Conditions
The simple rules that keep classes running smoothly. If anything here isn't clear, just ask Miss Jenna.
1. About these terms
JT Dance is run by Jenna Tamblin ("Miss Jenna"). Classes are held at Cinnamon Brow Community Centre, Perth Close, Fearnhead, Warrington WA2 0SF, in term time only, following the local schools' term dates.
These terms apply to every child and adult who joins a class. "You" means the parent or carer who registers a child, or an adult dancer who registers themselves.
2. Joining
- Enquire using the enquiry form, or call or WhatsApp 07793 722 339.
- Registration form. Miss Jenna sends you a link to the registration form to fill in online (or a paper copy if you prefer).
- Direct Debit. You set up a Direct Debit mandate through GoCardless.
- Place confirmed. Your place is confirmed once both are done.
Your place isn't held until your registration form and Direct Debit are complete. Please don't come to a class before then. Miss Jenna needs the registration details before anyone dances, for insurance reasons.
3. Two-week trial
New dancers can try two weeks first. The trial classes are paid as normal classes at the usual price.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are charged per class at the prices on the timetable: children's ballet £5.50, tap £5 and adult ballet £6.50 a class. Fees are paid by Direct Debit through GoCardless. Miss Jenna will explain the payment options when you join. One-off costs, such as dancewear or exam fees, can also be paid by bank transfer. No payments are taken on this website.
5. Missed classes
Missed classes can't be refunded. If Miss Jenna has to cancel a class, it's taken off your next payment.
6. Leaving
If your child (or you) wants to stop, please tell Miss Jenna before the end of a half term. Fees aren't refunded if a dancer leaves part-way through a half term.
7. Health, allergies and safety
Please tell Miss Jenna about any allergies, illness or medical conditions on the registration form, and let her know straight away if anything changes. Keeping this information up to date helps keep every dancer safe.
8. Dropping off and collecting
Children of primary school age must be collected from the door by a parent or carer. They aren't allowed to walk through the car park or home on their own.
Children of secondary school age may leave on their own only if a parent has given Miss Jenna written permission.
9. What to wear
You don't need a uniform to start. For the first classes anything comfy is fine. Once your child has settled in, Miss Jenna supplies the JT Dance uniform. See what to wear.
10. RAD exams
RAD ballet exams are optional. Miss Jenna will talk to you before entering any dancer for an exam.
11. Photos and videos
JT Dance doesn't post photos of children online. A photo or video of your child is only ever used with your written consent first.
12. Your information
How JT Dance looks after your details is explained in the privacy notice.
