Baby Ballet Classes in Warrington

Baby Ballet for Little Dancers Aged 2–4 in Warrington

Our Baby Ballet classes are specially designed for pre-school children aged 2 to 4 years old. These gentle, fun-filled sessions introduce your little one to the magic of ballet through creative movement, music and imaginative play at our Cinnamon Brow, Warrington studio.

Each class is carefully structured to develop coordination, balance, rhythm and confidence in a nurturing environment. Your child will learn basic ballet positions, simple steps and creative expression — all while having a wonderful time with new friends.

What to Expect in a Baby Ballet Class

Baby Ballet sessions at JT Dance last 30 minutes — the perfect length for little ones with big imaginations but short attention spans. Each class follows a familiar structure so your child feels safe and settled:

  • Warm-up circle — gentle stretches and hello songs to ease into the session
  • Creative movement — exploring ballet steps through imaginative stories and games
  • Basic positions — first, second and third positions introduced through play
  • Music and rhythm — moving to age-appropriate classical and modern music
  • Cool-down and goodbye — a calm finish with stickers and a sense of achievement

Age Guidance

Baby Ballet is for children aged 2 to 4 years. Your child does not need any previous dance experience. A parent or carer should remain in the building during the class. Once your little one turns 5, they can move up to our Junior Ballet classes.

What to Wear

There is no strict uniform for Baby Ballet — comfort is key at this age:

  • A leotard or comfortable fitted clothing they can move freely in
  • Ballet shoes (pink leather or canvas) — or clean socks for the first few sessions
  • Hair tied back away from the face, ideally in a bun or ponytail
  • No jeans, boots or bulky clothing please

Not sure where to buy ballet shoes? Our JT Dance shop partner Dancing Daisy stocks everything you need.

What to Bring

  • A named water bottle
  • A small snack for afterwards (no food in the studio please)
  • A cardigan or jumper for before and after class
