Age Groups & Classes

Toddlers & Pre-School (Ages 2-4)

Our Baby Ballet classes are the perfect introduction to dance for little ones. In gentle, fun 30-minute sessions, children learn basic ballet positions, coordination and musicality through imaginative play and storytelling. No experience needed — just enthusiasm and a pair of ballet shoes!

Juniors (Ages 5-11)

As children grow, they can explore a range of dance styles:

  • Ballet — RAD graded syllabus from Primary through to Grade 5, building technique, posture and grace
  • Tap — ISTD-aligned syllabus developing rhythm, coordination and musicality
  • Modern Theatre — Expressive, dynamic movement combining contemporary and classical techniques
  • Musical Theatre — The complete package: singing, acting and dancing in one exciting class

Many of our junior students take two or three styles each week, which helps them develop as well-rounded performers. Multi-class discounts are available.

Seniors & Teens (Ages 12-16)

Older students continue progressing through the RAD and ISTD graded exam syllabus while developing performance skills. Our senior classes offer more challenging choreography, exam preparation and opportunities to perform at showcases and dance festivals. Dance is a brilliant way for teenagers to stay active, express themselves and build lasting friendships.

What to Expect at Your First Class

New to dance? Don't worry — every child starts somewhere! At your first class, your child will be welcomed by their teacher and introduced to the group. Classes are structured but fun, with warm-ups, technique work, creative exercises and a cool-down. Parents are welcome to wait in the community centre during class.

For your first session, comfortable clothing that allows movement is fine. After that, we recommend a leotard and ballet shoes (or tap shoes for tap classes). Your teacher can advise on where to purchase dancewear locally.
