Ballet Tech Classes in Warrington

What Is Ballet Tech?

Ballet Tech is a non-syllabus technique class designed for dancers aged 14 and over. Unlike our graded RAD classes, there is no set syllabus to follow — you do not need to remember exercises from week to week. This makes it the perfect class for older beginners who want to try ballet for the first time, as well as experienced dancers looking for a break from their normal syllabus work.

Each week focuses on building strength, flexibility and poise through carefully structured exercises that target the core muscle groups every dancer needs. You will work on posture, turnout, balance and co-ordination in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Who Is Ballet Tech For?

This class welcomes anyone aged 14 and above, regardless of experience. Whether you have never taken a ballet class before or you have been dancing for years, Ballet Tech meets you where you are. Many of our students combine this class with their regular RAD graded work to develop additional technical strength.

What to Expect in Class

A typical Ballet Tech session begins with a thorough warm-up at the barre, progressing through pliés, tendus, fondus and relevés. We then move to centre work, including adagio sequences for balance and control, and allegro combinations for jumps and turns. The emphasis is always on clean technique rather than choreography, helping you build a strong foundation that supports every style of dance.
